Puttinu Cares

San Antonio Hotel & Spa is supporting Puttinu Cares event. For the third year running, the Puttinu Challenge Charity Event is being organised on Monday 8th December 2008.

This much sought after fund raising activity consists of a bike ride from Birzebbugia to Cirkewwa, where all athletes board the ferry to Mgarr - Gozo. Once in Gozo, the athletes will swim from Mgarr to Hondoq ir-Rummien, followed by a run to Rabat and back. From Hondoq, the athletes will cycle to Mgarr, board the ferry again and cycle all the way to Birzebbugia via the Mater Dei Hospital.

The objective is to once again raise money in aid of the PUTTINU CARES children's support group which helps children with cancer in the special ward at Mater Dei Hospital.

All participating athletes have to donate EUR 100 each to register for this activity.

Donations can be made payable to Puttinu Cares Children's Cancer Support Group and sent to Mr Mark Bugeja of Al Fresco Restaurant, St.George's Bay, B'Bugia, BBG 1162 - Malta.
