Stay at the San Antonio Hotel and Spa in November and you will be able to see a classic football encounter as s ome of England 's and Italy 's football legends will play in a charity match at the Ta Qali Stadium on the 1st of November.

The last time such a match took place was in 2004 when the Italian squad triumphed. Whoever wins this time, a spectacle of sport is assured for the thousands who are expected to flock to watch these teams, both of which have a huge fan base amongst local enthusiasts.

Players who will be in the respective squads include: Lee Sharpe, Paul Gascoigne, David Platt, Des Walker, David Seaman, Paul Ince and Les Ferdinand for England, and Totò Schillaci, Beppe Signori, Pietro Vierchowod, Lorenzo Amaruso and Andrea Pazzagli for the Italians, who also plan to have singer and keen footballer Eros Ramazzotti in their ranks.

The following evening, 2nd November, a concert by Simply Red will be held featuring some of their greatest albums including: Stay, Blue, Life and more…
